Local businessman accuses TP sheriffs of harassment

In most people’s eyes, Crestline businessman Jeffrey Grotewold would seem to “have it all.” After all, he’s the owner of a successful multi-store carpet outlet (The Carpet Station), he’s married to a wealthy businesswoman – reportedly a member of the Goodwin’s Market family – and he had a remarkable career in major league baseball, tying the record for most consecutive home runs (three in all) as a pinch-hitter for the Philadelphia Phillies, for whom he played three seasons, beginning in 1992.
