An Ontario Sunday school teacher accused of molesting a 12-year-old girl in 2003 pleaded not guilty this morning to two felony counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a child.
John Calvin Savage entered his plea before a West Valley Superior Court judge via video from West Valley Detention Center, where he remains in custody in lieu of $500,000 bail.
Savage, 44, allegedly met the girl when she was his Sunday school student at Grace Baptist Church in Corona.
Ontario police are also investigating claims that Savage molested a 16-year-old foreign-exchange student from China who was staying at his family's home in Ontario.
Savage is scheduled to next appear in court Thursday.
